Thank you for visiting. My name is Jade and this is my blog. I am a mom to 4 children – three boys and one little girl – and wife to my husband, Sam.
I am an avid knitter and love making handcrafted garments and accessories, especially for my children. Truly, there isn’t a craft I don’t adore.
While I’ve known how to sew since I was young, I began my quilting journey back in 2005 when I was pregnant with my oldest son. It was something I’d always wanted to do and my pregnancy was the perfect excuse to begin. I had been married for a few years at this point and the timing was perfect. That said, I didn’t start quilting in earnest, truly, until my little girl was around 4 years old. I had followed along with quilt blogs over the years, and had been inspired them, but didn’t quilt as much as I liked. With my third pregnancy, the quilting bug hit and stuck for good.
I haven’t looked back. My blog is where I like to share my crafting journey, little glimpses of my home life, and the odd recipe (as a self-admitted “foodie”).
I love crafting and treasure the journey I’ve begun. I love being a part of such a wonderful community and knowing so many wonderful crafters, thanks to the wonders of the internet. I can’t wait to see where it takes me and I thank you for all the encouragement and support as I continue my quilting/crafting/mothering journey.
